real.. well as far as real goes.. broccoli has this chemical or
substance in it, which smells terrible.. like rotten
sewerage...
i say 'as far as real goes' because broccoli doesn't occur
naturally.. it is a cross-breed between 2 plants...
anyway, the gross smell and taste is the stuff which actually
fights cancer... but it's too disgusting for many... so the
eggheads started to genetically engineer the grossness away... and
they did to an extent..
the grossness is still slightly there.. but then, the only
redeeming quality of the broccoli is gone... it doesn't fight
cancer anymore...
so, what you have is basically a useless vegetable-like thing, with
no redeeming qualities, with a gross smell for about 25% of the
population, may cause your pee to stink (just like asparagus for
some) and people are hoodwinked into thinking how good it
is...
eat it for the fibre.. only
